Hello! My name is Kelly Menz and I am the theatre director at Smithson Valley Middle School. If you would like to know what I am all about and where I come from, then you came to the right place. ​

I have been involved in theatre since I was 8 years old starting off as an extra in a local musical. I have continued to be a part of theatre as much as I could for as long as I could, including being a part of over 30 theatrical productions. In high school I started working at a children's theatre summer camp and eventually went on to be the director of these camps guiding the campers to put on a full 2 hour musical in 2 weeks.

I attended Texas State University and received my Bachelor's Degree in Theatre with a concentration in Performance and Production. It was then that realized I missed working with children and decided to get my teaching certificate. This will be my second year teaching at SVMS. Let's do this!
